Questi biscotti sono saporiti e aromatici. Quando li preparo finisco in due giorni! Si tratta di una ricetta che ho estratto dal libro " Cookies" di Martha Stewart e ne val la pena condividerla. Se vi coccolate con thé e tisane non potete non provarli! Io li faccio grossi, insomma un po' all'americana come piacciono a me, ma potete anche fare dei mini cookies. La farina di granoturco che viene menzionata negli ingredienti io l'ho tradotta come farina di mais fioretto ( trattandosi di cookies ) ma forse occorreva proprio la farina per la polenta :shock: Comunque questi in foto ormai sono finiti :)


225 gr di farina 0 ( "all purpose flour" )
150 gr di farina mais fioretto
220 gr di burro
1 cucchiaino di bicarbonato
1 cucchiaino di sale
2 uova
1 cucchiaio e mezzo di timo fresco
75 gr di uvetta sultanina (io 100 )

Classico procedimento dei cookies...senza riposo e via in forno caldo preriscaldato per 12/15 minuti.
Per formare le palline da cuocere uso il classico barbatrucco nigelliano cioè uso il cucchiaio "servi gelato "
All'impasto io aggiungo 1 cucchiaino di lievito per evitare di trovarmi uno spatascio di biscotti sulla teglia :-P
